Boundaries Are My Love Language
This 2 hour workshop is geared towards activists, artists, and community workers, though its applications do have a wider range. In this session, we explore value setting, basics around conflict and communication, and some practical ideas around boundary setting in environments where passions run high and there’s a lot to juggle.
Food and Politics: Connecting Global Politics through Gastronomy
This is a 2 hour interactive workshop where I share my story as a cook from a mixed household and how my political identity squares off with my food. I invite participants to play a short research game with me that allows us to explore global politics, economic trends, and enrich our historical understanding all through food.
Play as Solidarity: Finding Joy in Anti-Racism Work
This is an interactive workshop that can be customized to last as long as you need and fit a variety of age groups and environments, though it does require at least an hour. I share my experiences and ideas around play, joy, and rest as imperative parts of racial and social justice movements. The option to add in some games and play elements is absolutely available!
Navigating Privilege: Solidarity 101

Using an intersectional approach we explore different areas of marginalization and privilege and some best practices for using your privilege to help those around you.
